空白空间于2004年创立于北京，2009年迁至草场地1500平方米的画廊空间后，展开了全新的艺术计划，成为中国首家以青年艺术家为主体的当代艺术画廊。2021年在北京顺义区开设700平方米的第二画廊空间。作为推动全球当代艺术传播与交流的专业画廊机构，空白空间以高度策展性和研究性的方式，深度地推进艺术家的个案实践，成为中国乃至亚洲最具先锋和实验精神的艺术发声场之一。

White Space was founded in Beijing in 2004. After moving to a 1,500-square-meter gallery space in Caochangdi in 2009, it launched a new art plan and became China’s first contemporary art gallery with young artists as the main body. In 2021, a 700-square-meter second gallery space will be opened in Shunyi District, Beijing. As a professional gallery institution that promotes the dissemination and exchange of global contemporary art, White Space deeply promotes the individual practice of artists in a highly curatorial and research-oriented manner, becoming one of the most avant-garde and experimental art venues in China and even Asia.
