九九年科元成立于台中清水

2004年画廊由一个楼层，扩展为二个楼层，以提供更专业的艺术产业服务。 2022年由「科元艺术中心」更名为「科元艺术」。

新艺术家的表演舞台，老收藏家的寻宝乐园

科元艺术是一个在地人的画廊，也以支持本土、年轻艺术家为我们长期的发展方向，「新艺术家的表演舞台，老收藏家的寻宝乐园」一直是我们经营的核心理念。科元艺术希望成为收藏家与艺术家交流的一个平台，并期待能做到收藏家、艺术家、画廊共同成长的目标。

Established in 1999, Ke-Yuan Gallery opened its art space in Chingshui, Taichung.

Originally suited in a relatively condense art space, it has expanded its exhibition hall to a spacious two-level building to warmly welcome the increasing art lovers, visitors, and collectors.

Ke-Yuan has established well as the heart of local art and lives with the motto of “serving as the stage for young artists, a new treasure-land for senior collectors” Its goal is to connect the young artists with collectors, hoping to initiate the communication channel among collectors, artists, and gallery. Ke-Yuan Gallery is more than the knight in shining amour defending the “spirits “in oriental arts, it also earns the name of cultivating the viewers with the exquisite art appreciation and its unique tastes in the industry. It holds the focus in art collection with the following three dimensions: sincerity in humanity, clarity in material experiment and aesthetics emptiness as the key philosophy. The oriental art is considered as the worldly language to communicate with Ke-Yuan’s friends among the globe.
