舟山博物馆 Zhoushan Museum

舟山博物馆是市级综合性博物馆，属国家所有社会公益性事业单位，是国家一级博物馆，成立于上世纪50年代后期，后因文革开始停办。1984年8月再次筹建舟山博物馆，把祖印寺作为博物馆馆舍，1986年10月开馆。90年代初为落实宗教政策把祖印寺归还佛协，舟山博物馆闭馆。1995年，舟山博物馆再次开始筹建，1998年馆舍落成，2000年迁入定海环城南路，2000年1月对外开放，占地面积5552平方米，建筑面积3693平方米，其中展厅面积为1350平方米。

2014年12月27日，舟山博物馆新馆试开馆运行，馆舍位于新城海天大道内侧舟山海洋文化艺术中心。新馆是一座集收藏、保护、研究、展示和教育于一体的综合性博物馆，建筑面积为14100平方米，建筑外立面以银灰色的几何块面分割，凹陷间隙处以蓝色填充，象征舟山岛礁林立，陈列展览总面积为6120平方米。

新馆运用现代化展示语言向观众介绍舟山得天独厚的自然资源、别具一格的渔风民俗和源远流长的海岛历史。一层基本陈列为“美丽家园——舟山自然陈列”,包括“群岛由来”、“野性舟山”、“蓝色宝库”三个单位，通过古动物化石和植物、动物、昆虫、矿物标本，反映了舟山群岛成岛过程、自然环境和资源蕴藏，专设“五峙山鸟岛”和“獐的一家”场景，通过现代化展示语言，展示了五峙山鸟类自然保护区鸟类繁殖生息的风貌和小型鹿科哺乳动物獐的生活环境。二层为“渔风海韵——舟山民俗陈列”，包括“煮海制盐”、“渔风民俗”、“渔镇街市”、“渔熙船功”五个单元，系统展示了舟山独特海洋文化背景下的民风民俗。三层为“群岛往事——舟山历史陈列”，包括“海岛先民”、“甬东故事”、“翁山昌国”、“门户砥柱”、“潮起千岛”五个单元，按时间顺序讲述了舟山从东海边的蛮荒之地，历经风雨沧桑，逐步发展成千岛新区的漫长路程。另外，一层和三层还配备2个临（特）展厅，用于展示从外地引进及原创的精品临特展，丰富展览内容。馆内有陶瓷、玉器、字画等文物藏品,其中犀牛角荷叶螭虎杯、明清书画、宁式家具、古菱齿象、德氏水牛和四不像麋鹿等晚更新世古哺乳动物化石等颇具特色。

Zhoushan museum is a state-owned comprehensive museum belongs to the public welfare institutions. The museum was originally established during 1950s. Zhoushan museum houses more than 10，000 items of collection, covering porcelains, jade articles ,calligraphies, paintings, paleontological fossils and many different kinds.

On 27th December 2014, Zhoushan museum reopened to the public in the new museum building located at the Zhoushan Marine Culture and Art Center. The new building covers a total area of 14,100㎡,with an exhibition area of 6,120㎡.

The new museum uses modern designs and technologies to show Zhoushan`s exceptionally natural resources, unique folklore culture and long history. We hold permanent, special and temporary exhibitions in the three stores of the museum building. For the permanent exhibitions, the first floor is the exhibition ” Beautiful Homelands ——Display of Zhoushan Natural Resources” .This exhibition shows the geological evolution of Zhoushan and her natural environment and resource.The second floor is the exhibition ” Fishing Custom & Sea Charm —— Display of Zhoushan Marine Culture”. This exhibition systematically shows the folklore culture of Zhoushan which is deeply influenced by the marine. The third floor is the exhibition ” Past Events of the Islands——Display of Zhoushan History”. This exhibition tells how Zhoushan developed from a rustic island to today`s new area in time sequence.

Zhoushan museum also has two exhibition halls for special and temporal exhibitions at the first and third floor. Since the opening, Zhoushan museum has already held many exhibitions in variety themes.

As the inheritor, pioneer and guider of the Zhoushan marine culture, Zhoushan museum has always been adhering to the idea of “build museum with her own characteristics”. Based on the reality and island features, Zhoushan museum sticks to accumulate and promote her cultural service ability and external influence.
