台州当代美术馆于2016年建成，隶属于台州世贸集团，由国内著名建筑师柳亦春操刀设计，总面积2450㎡,共8个展厅。美术馆致力于整合国内资源，呈现出高水准的多样化艺术样态；并依托各美术院校研究与教学平台、国内与国际各艺术机构、台州当地的传统特点和现代化发展，将艺术展示、公共交流和本地文化结合在一起，促进本土的、社会的、国际的艺术实践与文化产生。
It was completed in 2016 belongs to Taizhou World Trade Group and designed by Liu Yichun, a famous architect in China, with a total area of 2450㎡ and 8 exhibition halls. The museum is committed to integrating domestic resources, presenting a high level of diversified art forms; relying on the research and teaching platforms of art colleges, domestic and international art institutions, and the local traditional characteristics and modern development of Taizhou, the museum combines art exhibition, public communication and local culture together to promote local, social and international art practice and cultural production.
