Founded in 1985 in London by Anna Maria Rossi, who was later joined by her son, Fabio, Rossi &Rossi is today amongst the premier representatives of contemporary artists from the Asia-Pacificregion. The gallery operates from premises in Hong Kong and London. A pioneer in the development of contemporary Asian art, Rossi & Rossi engages with major museums and private collectors worldwide.

Prior to venturing into contemporary art in 2005, the founders had already established a worldwide reputation as leading dealers in Indian, Himalayan and South East Asian art. The gallery’s clients include distinguished private collectors as well as museums around the world; amongst them, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford, the Tokyo National Museum, the Louvre Abu Dhabi and the Art Gallery of New South Wales in Sydney.

In 2010, in collaboration with a noted Chinese expert, the gallery became the first dealer to host a commercial exhibition of Himalayan art in Beijing. Three years later, Rossi & Rossi expanded its reach within the emerging Asian market by opening a space in Hong Kong. Fabio Rossi embarked on a series of exhibitions in 2017 in Asia dedicated to bringing greaterattention to modern and contemporary European artists. The following year, the gallery stagedthe first exhibition in Asia on the work of the late Italian avant-garde artist Aldo Mondino, in addition to a successful commercial presentation of works by Italian painter and printmaker Giorgio Morandi.

Rossi & Rossi is a member of the Hong Kong Art Gallery Association (HKAGA). The gallery also participates in pre-eminent regional and international art fairs, including Art Basel Hong Kong, Artissima, Abu Dhabi Art and Fine Art Asia.
