SNAP艺术中心位于九江路附近的四川中路294号，一座新古典主义风格建筑，此建筑为前德华银行，建于1916年。

SNAP has moved their location just down the street to 294 Sichuan Middle Road, near Jiujiang Road and enthusiastically gives new life to this 1916 neoclassical structure and former German bank.

SNAP是一所纯非赢利机构，由纽约视觉艺术学院创办于2014年，由当代艺术家及纽约视觉艺术学院纯艺系教师，当代艺术实践系硕士生导师胡任乂主持。目的是为了推广全世界范围内优秀当代艺术家，设计师，策展人与艺术行业专业人士，机构功能包括展览，讲座，调研和讨论会。通过提供这个平台，让艺术行业相关人员深化艺术实践与发展同时构筑强化的联系纽带。

SNAP is a non-profit art center that was established in late 2014 by the School of Visual Arts in NYC (SVA-NYC) currently under the directorship of contemporary artist and SVA professor(Fine Arts), MFA Mentor(MFA Art Practice) Hu Renyi. SNAP focuses on holding art exhibitions, lectures and seminars amongst both international and local contemporary artists, designers, curators & art industry professionals. By providing this platform, members of the art community can further their practice and development as well as build stronger ties.
